As reported by Tuttosport, midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu's stay in Milan is still uncertain, and the constant back-and-forth has upset management at Casa Milan. Milan has proposed a renewal contact for 4 million a year, plus bonuses. The Turk has stated he is looking for at least 5 million a year, so he has been hesitant on the Rossoneri's offer. Calhanoglu has reportedly received an offer from a Qatar club this past week with a salary of 8 million a year. The agreement could come down to Champions League qualification, which will be determined today, but he has stated publicly that his renewal does not depend on that factor.
According to reports, the push and pull going on during the negotiation process has upset management. They are not happy to have to persuade a player for the last 4 months to renew with their club. Talks will certainly resume following the conclusion of the season.
