The AC Milan and RedBird owner, Gerry Cardinale, spoke to Milan News as he left Milanello. Here are his words:
"The atmosphere inside? Serious. Very serious. I think everyone is focused."
Is the derby an important match? Cardinale replied:
"Every derby is important, every match is important, so, you know, to do things well, you have to be serious. It is a match. These guys are focused, and Ruben is doing his job, the players are doing theirs. Today, there was an excellent training session."
Are you confident?
"Yes, I am always confident because we are prepared and we do our job. Injuries always come unexpectedly and you have to deal with them, but that is football. But tomorrow we will take to the pitch very determined and very focused. And we will see what happens. We will take to the pitch to win, there is no doubt about that."
Have you spoken with Amorim?
"Of course. Several times a day. But you have also spoken with him, right? I was there at the press conference... It was a good press conference. Ruben is very clear in the way he expresses himself, he is very authentic, very transparent. This is the new Milan."
