The new San Siro stadium project that is shared by AC Milan and Inter is still in very early stages and the situation seems complicated especially because of the Nerazzurri's financial health currently.
Milano's mayor, Giuseppe Sala, commented with the following words, as reported by Calcioefinanza.it:
"I'm always ready for a conversation. I was certainly misled by Inter only because I wanted to ask for guarantees before entrusting them with work that is worth 1.2 billion euros on our land, and maybe I had my reasons."
"I am ready to listen to them once again because it is my job to do so. We wrote to each other in recent days and let's say that maybe I understood that it was going to end like this which I'm sorry because when you win a championship it is clear that a lot is due to the coach."
"I hope we can go back to the stadium, I promised my most trusted Inter friends that if you can sign up for the second ring I will do it with them because these are the moments in which, as they say, you have to gather around the team. So I also hope as a fan to be able to return to the stadium."
