As reported by La Gazzetta Dello Sport, rival Serie A club Napoli has reportedly called Feyenoord for the defender, and Milan target, Marcos Senesi. The 24-year-old center back is expected to be on the move from the Netherlands, as the club would like to collect some money to give them financial flexibility. Feyenoord is expected to demand between 15 and 18 million for their center back. The Argentine has become the staple for the club’s defense, and has made 66 appearances in the Netherlands.
Napoli apparently have made the first aggressive move for the defender, as they have begun talks with the player’s entourage. Senesi has been linked to Milan and Napoli over the last couple of weeks, and is expected to be playing in Italy in some regards next season.
Milan have been in the market for a center back this coming summer transfer market. With the eventual and rumored departure of Alessio Romagnoli, the Rossoneri will look for a reinforcement to the defense. Maldini and Massara will keep their eyes on the Netherlands this summer in regards to Senesi’s status.
