Lorenzo Insigne's future is yet to be written. His contract ends next June 2022 and he is yet to find an agreement with Napoli over an extension for his deal.
The player is now within the Italian national team's camp preparing for the Euros without having a clear idea about his future and where it lies.
According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli's president De Laurentiis would like to propose a contract with lower figures: currently Insigne earns 4.6 million euros and the offer would be 3.5 million. The 29-year-old would like to earn 5 million euros instead.
AC Milan's interest remains there, however, as per some recent reports who continue to claim so. It remains to be seen if the managers Paolo Maldini and Massara see a potential transfer happening in the future for Insigne or not.
