Antonio Rudiger, former player of AS Roma and currently at Chelsea has impressed well this season, sealing it with a good performance against Manchester City in the triumph of the Champions League.
The German defender is no stranger to Serie A football as he spent some time in the capital of Italy before making his move in 2017 for the Blues in London.
AC Milan are understood to have made some approaches for the centre-back who is 28 years old as well as Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain back in October when he was likely to leave on a temporary basis. However, a loan move did not materialise eventually, writes Skysports.com.
The source also claims that "Antonio Rudiger is set to enter the final 12 months of his contract but is relaxed about his situation at Chelsea"
Rudiger has 34 appearances to his name with Chelsea in this season. In those matches, they have won 22, drawn 8 and lost 4. The defense kept 22 clean sheets in the games which Rudiger played in.
The Germany international has a contract that expires in 2022 and it remains to be seen if the Rossoneri shall come back knocking on the Blues' door for his services or not with a renewal not yet in place.
