As Tuttosport explained, rival club Inter have put themselves in a solid position to make a move on rising Italian star Giacomo Raspadori. The player, who is followed by Milan, is also being followed with great interest from Inter, and the club feel they have a leg up in the race for the profile.
Raspadori is represented by agent Tulio Tinti, the same agent of newly appointed Inter manager Simone Inzaghi. The agent also represents fellow Nerazzurri club members Bastoni, Darmian and Ranocchia. The club feels that the strong relationship with Tinti and Inter will come in handy during the transfer window. Even if they do not make a move on the player this summer, they feel comfortable with the relationship in the future and believe they can recruit the player in when the time is right.
Raspadori had a strong season in Serie A for just a 21-year-old. The first half of the season did not produce many minutes on the pitch, but towards the end of the season the player was a regular in the lineup and found the back of the net plenty of times, including a brace against Milan in April. The Italian is seen as such a promising talent, that Italian manager Mancini called up the 21-year-old to the first team Italian squad for this summer's Euro competition.
Milan have made it a priority to sign a striker this summer transfer market. While no concrete steps have been made as of now for a player, the Rossoneri certainly have a long list of names to keep tabs on. Raspadori is one to note out of Italy. The youngster shows promise and flashes of brilliance, but Inter feel positive regarding the relationship with the player right now.
