Mike Maignan signed with AC Milan on a contract deal that bounds him to the club until 2026. The French international comes to replace Gianluigi Donnarumma who will leave on a free.
Commenting about his compatriot's arrival to Serie A, Juventus' midfielder Adrien Rabiot said the following during a press conference of the national team ahead of the EUROs:
"I had no role in Maignan's arrival in Italy. There were many rumors, I simply told him it would be good for him, especially in a team like Milan that has been reborn in recent seasons."
"Maignan is a hard worker, a very ambitious person who always has a great desire to improve. He will do very well in Italy."
