As CBS Sports reported today, Arsenal reportedly have their eyes on Hakan Calhanoglu, as they may be in the market for a midfield reinforcement. Calhanoglu has an expiring contract with Milan this summer, and currently has an offer on the table from the Rossoneri that he has yet to make a decision on. The player also has an offer from a club in Qatar, that he has yet to move on as well. Those are the only two concrete offers the Turk has as of now, but he could garner interest from a number of clubs still across Europe, one of those clubs being Arsenal.
The Gunners took Odegaard on loan from Madrid for the second half of this last season, and are very fond of the profile. Arsenal would like to acquire the player on a permanent deal, but must negotiate with Real Madrid for their player. In the event that negotiations are not successful for the London club, they have their sights set on Calhanoglu.
Calhanoglu has reportedly been given a short time window to make a decision by Maldini and Masarra. Many speculate that a decision will be made before the Euros kick off this weekend. If the number 10 for Milan does choose to walk, he could have offers abroad.
