The upcoming Serie A season will be challenging for AC Milan as the team will be doing its best in the Champions League, a competition which has been absent for Milan since so many years. But also, it will be difficult because the club will fight again for a top finish in the standings.
Out of the 17 teams in the league that remained, 6 of them are sure to keep their current coaches while the others have taken different paths with different managers.
The Rossoneri squad could take advantage of this, according to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the players already know the ideas and style of coach Pioli. Another advantageous point is not having too many players in their national teams for the Euros.
Only 4 are called up for the competition that will soon begin who are Mike Maignan, Simon Kjaer, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Ante Rebic. Others, however, have at least double the players in their respective national teams like Juventus, (12) Atalanta and Inter (9), and Napoli (8).
This means that some key Milan players like Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria will have a good chance to rest and recharge their energies.
