As reported by Corriere di Torino, both Milan and Juventus have interest in Roma keeper Antonio Mirante. The Italian keeper has reportedly already reported to Roma that he will not return next season, and is looking for a new club this summer. The 37-year old appeared in 13 matches last season for the Giallorossi, and has played in Serie A since 2006.
Milan have always had their eye on the profile, but now Juventus, too, have joined the race. Milan made the jump to new starting keeper Mike Maignan, and have plenty of young talents in the pipeline. There have been talks that back-up Ciprian Tatarusanu will look to renew with Milan, so management will have to decide how much depth they would like at the position. Alessandro Plizzari has been rumored to be the third line keeper this season, but if Milan make a move for Mirante, that could change those plans.
