As reported today by MilanNews.it, a meeting was held today at Casa Milan with SPOCS agency, and Milan inquired over the status of Sasa Kalajdzic out of the Bundesliga. Milan have increased their search for a young striker for next year and the future, and Maldini and Massara spoke today with the player's agency about his status.
Kalajdzic currently plays as forward for VfB Stuttgart in Germany, and is coming off of a 16 goal season in his 33 appearances. The player has certainly shown his capabilities to the football world, and was even named starter in the most recent Euro 2020 match for his country Austria. The 23-year-old is on contract with his club until 2023, and no price tag has been announced for the player.
Milan plan to bring in Olivier Giroud to reinforce the attack, but with the potential absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic next season, Milan would like to add another piece for the future. Kalajdzic already has decent experience and productivity for a youngster, as he as played top flight football in Germany for the past two seasons. Management in Milan will certainly be in contact with the player's entourage and club this summer.
