AC Milan is always looking to grab some opportunities as they arise in the mercato. Some teams could be looking to cash in on players who do not fit in their plans.
According to what is reported by Il Corriere dello Sport, after the European Championship, many teams will have to sell the redundant players and Milan is keeping a close eye on some players.
In fact, Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea, in particular, is appreciated by Paolo Maldini and the rest of the management. Relationship between the Blues and the Rossoneri is great and Milan could take advantage of that.
However, Ziyech is a big earner and would cost a lot on the balance sheet of the club. Therefore, Milan would prefer to wait until the end of August to see if a deal can happen. If the Moroccan Champions League winner of 28 years pushes to leave Cobham, then Maldini would be ready to take him on loan.
