AC Milan are following the track of many players, based on multiple recent reports, to replace Hakan Calhanoglu who is set to sign a contract as a free agent with Inter.
According to what is reported by outlet SportMediaset, Hakim Ziyech could be the profile that will replace the Turkish number 10.
The Moroccan international did not enjoy much playing time since the arrival of German coach Thomas Tuchel. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara could take advantage of the situation as they see him as a great option to fill the spot left by Hakan.
There is a problem in the trail that leads to landing Ziyech, however, as the Blues board paid 40 million euros to Ajax to sign him and therefore, they do not want to take any losses.
The Milan executives should be negotiating with Chelsea management, led by Marina Granovskaia, to find an agreement. The idea is a loan with a buy-option or even a buy-obligation.
The alternative option for Ziyech, on the other hand, is Brahim Diaz' teammate at Real Madrid who returns from a loan spell at Arsenal in the Premier League: the 24 year-old Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos.
