Market expect Luca Marchetti spoke to SkySport today regarding Milan's initiatives in the summer transfer market. Marchetti pointed out how Milan has interest in multiple players from Chelsea. The Rossoneri appear to be closing in on Olivier Giroud, but the analyst pointed out that he is not the only player Maldini and Massara have their sights on. Marchetti went on to discuss the current relationship with those in Milan and London:
"More than an intertwining it is a highway, but one-way: there are Milan interests for Chelsea players on at least three. Giroud is the oldest as a negotiation and there is an agreement with the player for 3.5 million euros per year; now the agents should - perhaps after the European Championship if the player should intervene - assert the famous promise to make him go away from the Blues if the Frenchman had found a project more interesting for him than the current one.
The other name is that of Bakayoko, who has already been to Milan and that Milan would like to have back; 'exit of Meité, such a figure is needed in midfield and Bakayoko could be the safest option knowing the boy's performance.
Another is that of Ziyech, who hopes to lead the lineup of players on the trocar who will take the place of Calhanoglu. Milan's strategy is to go and see in Europe which are those players that the club would like to sell now and that maybe in a month could be open to loan. Ziyech is one of the names that Milan certainly likes; there are others: there could also be Rafinha, Under, James Rodriguez: ready names with an international profile. You have to know how to work in diplomacy,".
