After the exit of Hakan Calhanoglu on a Bosman move, AC Milan have been evaluating different names for the role of the playmaker behind the striker.
The latest name to appear on Milan's radar, according to Il Messaggero is Luis Alberto from Lazio.
The player is valued at around 60 million euros by Lazio. However, that is too much for the Rossoneri chiefs to spend on one player. Therefore, there is the idea of offering Alessio Romagnoli as part of the deal to lower the fee.
The source claims that Milan is not the only club that is attracted by Luis Alberto's profile. There are Serie A rivals Juventus as well as Spanish giants Real Madrid. Il Bianconeri could propose a deal which includes their midfielder Arthur while Real Madrid could be willing to offer Dani Ceballos.
The 28-year-old Spanish midfielder is highly valued by the Biancocelesti. The former Liverpool player scored 9 goals this season while contributing with 4 assists in 40 appearances in total.
