AC Milan are back to resuming their hunt for a left-back in the mercato session as they look for a vice Theo Hernandez to be used in Stefano Pioli's formation.
The name that has been heavily mentioned in a possible transfer operation is Junior Firpo who was linked in previous market windows as well.
According to what is reported by Mundo Deportivo, it is not just Milan who are keen on the 24-year-old left back. There is also Premier League outfit Southampton, West Ham as well as Leeds United.
Serie A rivals from across town Inter are also interested. But it seems that Milan is leading the race to land the talented wide defensive player.
The newspaper also reveals that Celta Vigo did indeed send an official bid to acquire the services of the defender. However, Firpo himself made it clear to Barcelona's management that he would not like to remain in La Liga.
