As the end of June approaches, and thus the end of their economic agreement, some AC Milan players bid their farewell to the rossonere and today was Deborah Salvatori Rinaldi’s turn.
The striker posted her goodbye message on Instagram:
It was an honor for me to have played for one of the most important clubs in the world.
I had an unforgettable first year in which the satisfactions arrived and in which what mattered was shown on the pitch.
Enthusiasm was the engine of our team.
I bring with me many positive emotions and many sacrifices made together with my companions, especially because we shared many firsts and a dark period that was difficult for everyone.
This year, however, I also bring with me a lot of expectations on the sidelines, I was pawing and working to be present and available, but I was unable to be in the team as I would have liked. By participating!
This is not just because I had to recover some injuries.
My future will inevitably be elsewhere.
I want to thank the fans who have always supported me and written to me, but in recent months I have preferred to concentrate, work in silence and with respect.
I will never forget certain emotions.
I will never forget the love I have for Milan.
I will never forget the chants of the Milan fans.
I will never forget some of my travel companions.
I will never forget San Siro.
I will never forget the goal under the curve in the derby.
I hope I have left you something good.
Salvatori Rinaldi leaves AC Milan after 23 appearances and 4 goals scored. She has been linked to a move to Sampdoria and Pomigliano.
