AC Milan winger Jens Petter Hauge has given an exclusive interview to Jonas Adnan Giæver for the newspaper Dagbladet, where the Norway international has spoken about his club teammate Simon Kjaer. Here are his words:
On Kjaer's importance:
“In Milan he has a great importance. When he speaks everyone listens and respects him. When he has something to say, you can only listen to him. We call him "The Viking".
On his relationship with Kjaer:
"It is natural that we talk a little more to each other than to others because we both speak our mother tongue. He takes care of me, tells me what to do and when I do something good he compliments [me]. He's always there and always gives you that push more when he sees that there are things that can be done in a better way. He helps you both on and off the pitch."
On Eriksen's incident:
“It was a really difficult situation for everyone but he remained calm. Simon managed to compact the team and take responsibility. It saved Christian's life, it was an impactful moment for everyone. I was not surprised, when situations like this arise it shows the leader he is”.
