Former AC Milan defender Cristian Zaccardo has granted an exclusive interview to TuttoMercatoWeb.com, where he has been asked whether the Rossoneri have weakened after the departures of two important pillars in Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu. Here is what he said:
"They have lost two important players like Donnarumma and Calhanoglu. They will be two important absences, but Milan's managers are very good and will try to improve the team. Also because the Rossoneri are back in the Champions League and therefore there is a need for quality players. The real absence is Donnarumma, who is irreplaceable. Calhanoglu is a very good player but they can find a replacement of the same worth. Missing a center forward? I think so, they are evaluating different profiles, we hope that a striker, who can score many goals, will arrive."
