Santos' football executive André Mazzuco has spoken through the microphones of the channel E only da Santos about the contractual situation of club's promising striker Kaio Jorge, who is reportedly monitored by AC Milan, Juventus and other European sides during the current summer transfer window. Here are his statements:
"In a simple way, we have two situations: something happens in the window and we anticipate the six months of the end of the contract, even to raise some funds, or Kaio stay until the end of the year, with a technical delivery, and nothing happens until then. We deal a bit calmly about having Kaio with us to deliver whatever he can until it's time to come out. It can happen in the window that opens on August 1st or he has a contract to fulfill until December. There were some attempts [for renewal], conversations, and for some reasons I prefer not to comment because I didn't get involved directly... But there is a conscience that he's 100% dedicated and he's with us, we have nothing to talk about. He's dedicated and delivers on the games. We have to monitor this situation. But logically it's [either] the mid-year window or [he'll] stay until the end of the year."
