AC Milan's striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic suffered an injury on May 9th against Juventus, and some weeks ago, he had to have a surgery on his left knee on June 18th.
Even yesterday, Zlatan Ibrahimovic trained by doing some athletic training drills and also had a physiotherapy and rehabilitation session in the gym.
As explained by Tuttosport, the Swedish attacker's recovery is going according to the plan. Zlatan could return to running in a week or ten days. Then, it'll take another month until we can see him on the pitch.
Zlatan is eager to return to taking the field with his teammates, but at Milan, no one would like to rush anything, due to his age. Ibra turns 40 in October, therefore, this physical matter must be treated carefully.
If the recovery continues and there are no obstacles in the way, the goal is to have Ibrahimovic ready and available by the 22nd of August, which is the start of the Serie A championship. Ibra has set that day for himself as a goal. He is working hard to achieve his objective and does not intend to give up.
