Italian Striker Giorgia Miotto spoke today to Milan Tv’s microphone after her official announcement and shed some lights on a few interesting topics on her career, idols and the emotion to be part of the AC Milan Women.

On answering AC Milan call:
“For me it was an unexpected call. I have just started this path of growth that brought me here and when I started playing football, I didn't have such a big goal let's say, and instead find myself here at this club. I feel really excited, and I feel honored to wear these colors.”
Her take on the rossonere:
“It was a big deal for me to receive this call, even for a simple personal goal. It is a very organized team that is crystal clear about its goal, and even in the face of difficulties still manages to find inspiration and manages to achieve everything, to bring the three points home, so this also pushed me to say yes to Milan”
On herself:
“I'm a shy girl off the field, but who leaves shyness out as soon as I step into the pitch. I transform myself, to be honest. I’m a relentless person that never gives up, even if it is a hard thing to achieve, I prefer it that way because it is a stimulus.”
On her shirt number:
“When I was called to play my first season in Serie A, I was asked about the shirt number and at that time I thought to call my sister to ask her what the perfect number would be, the ideal number. She really likes the number four, so I decided to double it, hence, the 44 shirt number.”
On her idol:
“Serturini inspires me a lot because when I started to play, to enter the world of women's football, I was very small and she played at Brescia, and she still scoring nowadays, playing in my position, so she was my first role model, let's say, that I was inspired by.”
A message to the fans:
“Hi, fans! I want to say that this year I will work hard and I hope to have your warmth, your affection and I want to say that this year we will have a lot of fun. Forza, Milan!”
