AC Milan, after signing left-back Fodé Ballo-Touré from Monaco, are looking to bring one more wide defender to add to the team of Stefano Pioli. The aim is to snatch Diogo Dalot from Manchester United because he proved to be a good asset for the club as he is versatile and is familiar with the league and Milanello.
According to Sky Sport, Milan are working for the return of Diogo Dalot to the Rossoneri. After closing the latest deal of Brahim Diaz, now the attention shifts to Diogo Dalot. The Portuguese left-back's abilities is appreciated by the club leaders who are in talks with the Red Devils of the Premier League. Milan would like to get the player on loan with option to buy.
For their part, the English would accept this transfer formula if Milan guarantee a 5 or 6 million euros for the loan alone. It is a figure deemed to be high by Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara given that they have paid 3 million euros for 2 season loans for Brahim Diaz (1.5 million euros per season).
AC Milan managers continue the negotiations with their English counterparts for now. But, the plan B is Real Madrid's outcast, 25-year-old Spanish right-back Alvaro Odriozola.
