It is not just the attacking midfielder position that needs a reinforcement for AC Milan, but also the right-wing, writes Corriere dello Sport.
The right-wing is currently occupied by Alexis Saelemaekers and Samu Castillejo. The Spaniard could reportedly be on his way out and Milan would like to add quality on that flank.
According to what is reported by the newspaper mentioned above, to reinforce the right side of the pitch for the Rossoneri, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are thinking seriously of Atalanta's star Josip Ilicic.
However, Atalanta does not intend to give discounts to AC Milan. The Slovenian player will have to push for the exit, with his arrival not excluding another signing for the playmaker role who could be Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea, Marcel Sabitzer, of RB Leipzig or Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow.
