In the latest game that Santos played, Kaio Jorge was not called up in the squad list. The coach Fernando Diniz spoke about the player's situation and future by saying the following, as reported by Calciomercato.com:
"My intention is to deploy him obviously, if he stays with Santos. From what I could understand by talkin to him, he wants to leave Santos. But, he would like to reward Santos in some way. In short, he wants to leave, but in good terms with the club. If he stays, he will be used because he is important for us and he is difficult to replace. I don't like talking about transfer negotiations, but my wish is that he stays until at least December."
Calciomercato.com reports that the transfer operation is getting more heated from Juventus part, but it is fading for AC Milan.
Now there is no agreement between Juve and Santos on an immediate transfer. The offer is only 1 million euros plus bonuses to reach 2.5 million euros which is much less than half of what Benfica proposes.
