Juventus has now overtaken AC Milan in the race for Kaio Jorge as they try to secure the youngster signature.
The Rossoneri were reportedly in an agreement with the player, but there was no agreement with his Brazilian club, Santos.
Santos' president, Andres Rueda spoke about this potential deal to Estadio97:
"We are negotiating with Juve for Kaio. We have not yet decided whether he will be sold outright immediately or if he will go away in January after the contract expires. It is not true that we sell badly, we did not want to give Kaio, but we find ourselves obliged to do so because of the contract."
