AC Milan has followed Kaio Jorge of Santos for some time as the club appreciated the Brazilian's talent and saw him as a possible addition to the attacking department which is occupied by Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
But, Juventus' insertion in the race was crucial as they accelerated more than the rest of the clubs and moved swiftly for his signing.
According to what is reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, the negotiations between the Bianconeri management and Santos have been finalised.
As for the transfer cost, Santos will receive 1.5 million euros as a fixed fee and a bonus of linked to Champions League qualification which is set at 1.5 million euros. Plus, there could be 1 extra million to add thanks to numbers of games played by the 19-year-old striker. An operation that could therefore cost 4 million euros.
Santos will also enjoy a 5% on any future sale of the player and a priority clause for any future loans in South America.
Kaio Jorge will sign a contract with Juventus until 2026 with a salary set to be increased thanks to number of appearances. The player will arrive to Turin this week.
