With each passing day, Jens Petter Hauge gets closer and closer to leaving AC Milan with reports on Eintracht Frankfurt pushing to sign the Norwegian talent.
Hauge, 21, signed for Milan as a low-cost signing coming from Bodo/Glimt. Despite having few opportunities at Milan, he managed to score and give assists. In his last official appearance, he scored the equaliser against Sampdoria in the dying minutes of the match. But, the player is not part of coach Stefano Pioli's plan is set to leave.
Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt are still working to secure the player's signature in their favour. In fact, they have gotten 'very close' to meet the minimum financial demand of AC Milan which is set at 12 million euros. The German club is very keen and does not give up on this deal.
In case an agreement is not found, Wolfsburg is monitoring the situation in the background as they would be ready to sign the Norwegian.
