AC Milan have been doing well, as they have finally managed to reach Champions League football last season. The players showed growth and great commitment to coach Pioli's tactical instruction and style.
As reported by Tuttosport, now Milan has some good depth and therefore, the Italian coach can use different formation systems depending on the opponent and matches.
The newspaper adds that Pioli is studying the various ideas which are the following:
4-4-2: Pioli has already admitted that during the season he could use this form that would allow him to field Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud together forward.
3-5-2: This is also another plan which allows the use of two strikers upfront. As for the full-backs, they would be able to act as wing-backs and go higher up the pitch which can suit Theo Hernandez' quality.
4-3-3: Pioli could maintain the back four, but with this formation, he could add an extra man in the midfield.
