Franck Kessié is fundamental for AC Milan's gameplan as the coach values him highly. The player has a contract ending this season, he has not yet put pen to paper on a new deal with the Rossoneri. Besides that, he is out due to injury but is recovering and making progress to be available soon.
According to what has been revealed in today's print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Milan number 79 is set to return to group training today. In fact, he should be ready just in time for the clash against Maurizio Sarri's men, Lazio, at the San Siro stadium on September 12.
As for the player's future, it is still not certain. The contract renewal is getting harder with each passing day. AC Milan managing directors have offered up to 6.5 million euros as a yearly salary for its star. But, the insertion of PSG in the transfer talks have made the negotiations with the player's agent difficult.
