AC Milan and Juventus shared a point each in Serie A matchday 4 in Turin. Milan proved that they have a mature and strong squad despite the absences and injuries.
La Gazzetta dello Sport, in today's print edition, there was much praise to Milan's best player on the pitch yesterday. According to the Milanese paper, that was Brahim Diaz who had a 7 rating just like Ante Rebic.
Mike Maignan who was suffering some pain in his hand and still played the match, along with Fikayo Tomori who started as a right-back both had a rating of 6.5 same as teammates Sandro Tonali, Ismael Bennacer and Pierre Kalulu.
Simon Kjaer played briefly but was able to intervene with some well-timed tackles and interceptions before being forced out of the pitch due to an injury. Him and Alessio Romagnoli along with Alessandro Florenzi both received a 6.
Theo Hernandez continued to struggle and this time Rafael Leao as well as Alexis Saelemaekers also struggled, La Gazzetta granted them them a 5.5 rating.
The worst player on the pitch, however, was Franck Kessié who did not display his usual strength and activeness on the pitch. He was given a 5.
Coach Pioli's substitution worked out well for Milan in the second half as he had a solid 6.5 rating, which is the same overall rating to the team.
