Stefano Pioli has been unlucky with AC Milan regarding squad depth, despite reinforcing the team well in the summer's transfer window.
AC Milan has been plagued with injuries since the start of this season and the long list of unavailable players is worrying as Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan were added to it just recently due to Covid-19 and a surgery on the left wrist, respectively.
Coach Pioli, however, has something to look forward to, however, writes Corriere dello Sport in today's edition. In fact, midfielders Rade Krunic and Tiémoué Bakayoko are making good progress towards recovery, especially the Bosnian.
The French player, for now, is carrying out a reactivation program to get in a good shape. As for Alessandro Florenzi and Junior Messias, their recoveries will take longer time.
