AC Milan technical area director, Paolo Maldini, spoke to the microphones of SportMediaset ahead of the game against Porto away from home. Here are his words:
"Zero points after two games, clearly tonight the three points will weigh more. But it is not a match of life or death. To have the chance to pass the round, you need nine points and everything is up to us."
On Ballo-Touré:
"He has to play, he has great athletic abilities. The language can be a problem, but sometimes you also need to make mistakes to learn. We have a maturation process that began two years ago, but for many are the first experiences at these levels. In Liverpool, everyone felt a particular shiver down their spine and this is a lack of experience that there is at Milan. These matches make us understand that, by playing our way, we can compete in these too levels."
There are many absences in the squad...
"It's not easy, but with coach Pioli we gave ourselves an idea. By looking for excuses before the match, you prepare yourself for a defeat and this is not our way of seeing football."
