AC Milan continue to look for opportunities in the transfer market in order to be able to keep a competitive squad in the Serie A and most importantly outside of the Italian league.
In this sense, Lazio's star Luis Alberto has been linked with a move away from Lazio since the summer and especially after the arrival of coach Maurizio Sarri.
The former Liverpool playmaker is 29 years old and is deemed as one of the best technically gifted players in the Serie A. However, he has not been getting as many minutes as one would expect.
AC Milan are keeping track of Luis Alberto's situation. As reported by La Repubblica, the club managers Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara could propose a loan with an option to buy in an effort to land the Spanish star. The potential transfer would cost an overall amount of 30 million euros.
