Fabio Capello had something to say to the microphones of Sky Sport Italia regarding the AC Milan win against Torino at the San Siro stadium.
The former coach admits that while Milan did in fact take the three points, Torino were the better side:
"I saw a very humble Milan. Torino was superior, they played a great game. Torino had more quality than Milan. I enjoyed it, I saw a compact Milan, who knew how to suffer and who knew how to do something more against an excellent opponent. Everyone, from the first to the last, sacrificed themselves unlike what we saw in the match against Bologna."
On Pioli and Juric:
"I congratulate Juric for the football displayed by his team. Pioli's football? He made very fair changes, in midfield Milan was suffering from constant pressure from Torino. Milan, however, manages to make up for situations, even when there are no important players. Pioli has given identity and knows how to read games well."
Capello On the referee Aureliano:
"I would also highlight the refereeing: a fantastic direction, the players understood that throwing themselves on the ground was worth nothing."
