AC Milan's director, Paolo Maldini, is thinking of ways to reinforce the squad of Stefano Pioli by signing useful players from the Serie A.
January's transfer market will start in almost a month, and for that, Milan are careful by waiting to see if some opportunities will arise.
In fact, an operation could be done with Serie A club, Atalanta, writes Calciomercatoweb.it. One of the players who could leave in January is Aleksei Miranchuk. The Russian attacking midfielder has not played much with Gian Piero Gasperini's team: only 6 games in the league and almost always starting from the bench.

AC Milan management is monitoring the situation carefully as Miranchuk is an appreciated profile (he was linked with a move to the Rossoneri before signing for Atalanta). He is valued at around 15 million euros. However, Paolo Maldini has a different idea: an exchange involving Samu Castillejo.
The Rossonero number 7 was never much used, and in January his card could play an important role in trying to secure the signing of Miranchuk from Atalanta.
