The Rossoneri coach, Stefano Pioli, released these words to the microphones of Sky Sport Italia after the loss against Fiorentina. Here are the words of the boss:
"In the first half we played well and it shouldn't have ended 2-0, we didn't manage to score on many occasions and they with our carelessness and a great goal they found the 2-0. Even in the second half the performance was there, but more of character than anything else, we could have taken it back to the end but when you concede four goals you usually lose the games. The numbers are all on our side, while they made five shots and four goals. We had to score in the first half for what we created, we were not very lucid and careful. We have to feel the pain of this defeat and make sure it doesn't happen again, even after this defeat I am convinced that the team knows very strong."
Pioli continued:
"Losing hurts, and conceding four goals as well. My players are aware of what has not gone, sometimes we miss the last pass to put our team mate in front of the goalkeeper, we arrived in the area and shot at least twice as many as the opponents."
"We missed a little bit, we need to have more awareness for the next races. I have already talked to the boys and they know what the messages of this defeat were, from tomorrow we think about the Champions because we have a great match."
"I don't know how many percentages we have to qualify, but we want to get a prestigious victory" said Pioli.
