Following the injury of Simon Kjaer who is expected to be out until the rest of the season, Milan will try to purchase a central defender during the transfer window of the summer.
Today's print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport write that the main target for Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara is Sven Botman of Lille.
According to the newspaper, the talented player is valued somewhere between 25 to 30 million euros. The AC Milan management would try to ask to sign Botman on loan with an option to buy. The qualities of the defender are very appreciated by the club as he is tall, strong, quick enough and good with his feet.
The Dutch 21-year-old defender is not the only target of the Rossoneri, however. The directors of Milan are also following Andrea Christensen of Chelsea, Luiz Felipe from Lazio, Benoit Badiashile of Monaco and Becir Omeragic of Zurich.
