Empoli will miss out on the contributions of one of their stars for the next few games, including the fixture against the AC Milan side who are coached by Italian tactician Stefano Pioli.
Bad news arrived for Empoli and their Swiss midfielder Nicolas Haas. He came out in the sixth minute in the Coppa Italia match against Hellas Verona (Empoli won 4-3).
As per the Empoli official website, Haas has picked up an injury related to the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee.
As relayed by MilaPress.it, the 25-year-old player will therefore have to stay out for 6 months and, consequently, will certainly miss the match against Milan on the last day before the Christmas holidays.
