AC Milan are second in the Serie A league standings just behind Inter with a 4-point difference. The Rossoneri have 42 points while Napoli are third with 39 points. Overall, the form in the league for Pioli's men has been positive, but it could have been even better if it were not for injuries.
Meanwhile, however, the director of the Rossoneri club, Paolo Maldini, is currently thinking of future mercato moves in the summer to reinforce the team further.
According to what is reported by Calciomercatoweb.it, Milan would have targeted central midfielder Matias Vecino and right-winger Federico Bernardeschi who play for Inter and Juventus respectively. Both of these players have expiring contracts at the end of the season and they represent major opportunities to the management.
Vecino, 30, does not seem very important to the plans of Simone Inzaghi at Inter while Bernardeschi, 27, has found greater continuity in the last period, but despite this an agreement has not yet been reached for the renewal.
