AC Milan's Italian right-back, Andrea Conti, who has failed to become an important part of Stefano Pioli's system, is on his way out of the club.
According to what is reported by the daily Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, contacts between Empoli and the Rossoneri have been positive. The Serie A giants will actually collect a small compensation for the exit of the former Atalanta player around 1 million euros.
As for Andrea Conti, however, his contract at Empoli will be lower as he has been earning at Milan around 2.5 million euros net. A few more details to sort out before the deal is official, Conti will join Empoli in January, 6 months before his contract expiry with AC Milan.
