AC Milan's full-back Andrea Conti has been absent from the plans of Stefano Pioli. The former talent of Atalanta would like to revive his career and shine again elsewhere as he gets 0 minutes with the club.
With Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu, and Alessandro Florenzi on the right lane, it is difficult for the player to carve space for himself and that is why a move to Serie A club Empoli seems very close right now, as per latest information.
Now, according to a report of SportMediaset, AC Milan could take advantage of allowing Conti to exit in January to leave for Empoli in order to snatch a talented player from there. In fact, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have registered interest in Mattia Viti. The Rossoneri will try to include the youngster (19-year-old Italian centre-back) in the negotiations.
On Viti, however, there is also Fiorentina who would be willing to offer their 27-year-old Italian midfielder Marco Benassi in exchange.
