AC Milan, to replace the injured Simon Kjaer, have set sights on Sven Botman, a Dutch central defender of Lille who is seen as the ideal future partner of Fikayo Tomori. The Rossoneri have tried to sign him during January's window, however the move could not happen.
Now, the player has lifted the lid on the truth and said the following words:
"I'm fine at Lille for the time being. I assume that I will take a good step in my career next summer... Both Newcastle and AC Milan were concrete options. Everyone says about Newcastle - it's all about money. But it's a very nice project, if you look at where Man City and PSG started. I think it would be very nice to be part of that, but Milan is a beautiful club. I take responsibility for what my future will be for my career next summer", said Botman to Ziggo Sport.
