AC Milan does not only have to deal with Franck Kessié over his contractual situation, but also the captain: Alessio Romagnoli. As is known, his contract is due to expire at the end of the season and it seems that there is a significant gap between the club and the centre-back.
In fact, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's edition, the Rossonero number 13, who is represented by super agent Mino Raiola, is unlikely to pen to paper on a new contract with Il Diavolo. Right now, the player receives a very big salary, set at 6 million euros which is way too high for the Rossoneri management who have wage policy parameters to follow.
According to the Italian newspaper, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are only offering 2.8 million euros for a new contract. Alessio Romagnoli, for his part, is yet to acceppt a new deal and it seems that both parties are heading towards a seperation once the current deal expires in June 30.
