AC Milan's midfielder, Franck Kessié, who played a fantastic previous season, is now targeted by FC Barcelona. His contract with the Rossoneri runs out at the end of the current campaign and a renewal is now very difficult to reach.

Italian journalist and transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano has explained that FC Barcelona's boss, Xavi, is pushing to sign him (with Chelsea's centre-back Andreas Christensen).
The offer from the Blaugrana is 6.5 million euros as a fixed salary per season in a five-year deal. The former Atalanta player is tempted to join the Spanish heavyweights.
The club management, for their part, do not want to give into the Kessié's demands with Paolo Maldini saying: "We're not changing our stance", as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
