Barcelona, who managed to get past Napoli by winning 4-2 in the Europa League after an initial draw 1-1 in Spain, are working hard to rebuild a strong team in order to support the tactical ideas of coach Xavi. The Spanish side is currently 3rd in La Liga with 48 points collected after 13 wins, 9 draws and 4 losses.
According to a report shared by Italian journalist Nicolo Schira today, FC Barcelona will be trying to secure the signing of Franck Kessié once they found a deal with soon-to-be free agent who is currently at Chelsea: Andreas Christensen.
Franck Kessié's contract is yet to be renewed and it seems unlikely that he an agreement will be found between AC Milan and the player's entourage. This situation, therefore, represents a very good opportunity for FC Barcelona who do see the former Atalanta defensive midfielder as a perfect signing to bolster their squad.
In fact, a meeting is set between the Spaniards and the entourage of Franck Kessié in the next few days in order to try and close a deal.
