AC Milan's Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessié will be moving to Spanish giants FC Barcelona in the summer as a free agent. The negotiations between the former Atalanta midfielder and the Rossoneri management were not successful due to the big gap between the salary offer and demands of the agent. To replace the Rossonero number 79, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara seem keen to bring on Lille's star Renato Sanches.

A deal with Lille for the former Bayern Munich player, however, is definitely not an easy one. It is reported that Milan have had their eyes on the player for a long time but an agreement is yet to be found.
According to today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, there is no progress in talks to sign Renato Sanches from Lille. There is still a lot of work to do to finalise a deal and secure his arrival. Nonetheless, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara do not give up on this trail. The Portuguese central midfielder is indeed still a primary target to replace Franck Kessie.
