AC Milan finally got back to scoring and winning ways. Against Genoa, Rafael Leao and Junior Messias scored the goals. But, the performance of the defence is also not to be forgotten.
Speaking to DAZN, Fikayo Tomori had the following words to say:
"We are proud not to concede goals from several matches. Even today, we managed to do so and we also won, so we are happy."
On facing Lazio in the next Serie A match (after the derby in Coppa Italia 2nd leg semi-final)
"Immobile? He is a great striker. We will have to do better because Lazio are a strong team. We hope to win."
On Pierre Kalulu:
"We get along well. Pierre is a great player, we work well together. He wants to learn a lot. I felt good with Gabbia tonight too. Kalulu is a bit like my little brother. He made a great assist, he has the qualities for these crosses."
On his stay at Milan so far:
"When I arrived here, the team and the staff helped me a lot. I'm happy at Milan. They also help me to learn Italian, I'm still learning."
On the Scudetto:
"We have to think only of us, play our game and then we will see where we will arrive. We are first even if Inter have one game less, but we must continue to believe in it", said Tomori.
Tomori on his friend Tammy Abraham who plays for AS Roma:
"Abraham is having a great season. We always want to do our best. I talked a lot with Abraham, we are both happy in Italy."
