Elliott unhappy with Al Ardhi’s recent tweet: “Close first, then talk”

AC Milan's ownership could be changed soon with InvestCorp reportedly trying to close a deal into buying the Serie A giants.

The talks are ongoing with Elliott Management Corporation willing to sell the club. Yesterday, Chairman of InvestCorp Mohammed Al Ardhi teased the fans with a tweet on his personal account writing the following words:

"Congratulations to #ACMilan back on top of the italian league. Happy Easter to the club, it’s fans and everyone observing this occasion #SempreMilan."

As per Il Giornale today though, it seems that the tweet obviously did not go unnoticed for those at Elliott Management as those at the American hedge fund were not exactly happy about it.

According to the Italian newspaper, Elliott's message to Mohammed Al Ardhi could be summed up in short this way: "Sign first, then talk."
